Limp a little less
When the elevator hypnotist
Is making his rounds
So we went
Up and up and up
It took em long enough
I still see it all, I still hear the call
Splashing on your paper gown
And soaked to the bone
A hundred miles from the ground
I told you what I know
It’s wearing off too fast
Dizzy in the back seat
They never signed your cast
But I’ll see you sometime
So sink like
The ceilings meet the walls
It was timed right
But a curse leaves a scar
And of course it’d be today
When the banks all spilled over
I couldn’t hold the rain
But I’ll see you sometime I hope
i'm no good so i'll let everyone else do the talking abt how great this album is bc i have more important things to talk abt like that it was recorded in my hometown!! i was walkin around a stupid little ten-year-old and they were in the stu makin this album less than a mile from my house!! what!!!!! Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long.
